Fox News appeared to have other priorities than airng Gutfeld! on inauguration day.
Before it was revealed Gutfeld! would not air, the show’s host, Greg Gutfeld, took to X (formerly Twitter) to weigh in on all the fallout from Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday.
“First day in and the media is already talking Nazis. Keep at it douchebags. It’s glorious how you never learn,” he wrote in a post shared with his 2.9 million X followers.

Indeed, the tech tycoon faced an onslaught of backlash for his eye-raising gesture that saw him put his hand to his chest before launching his right arm into the sky – almost mimicking Adolf Hitler’s famed Nazi salute.
Several hours later, Greg returned to the platform to share an update on his show Gutfeld! which is normally scheduled to air on Fox News at 10pm.
“Hey all @Gutfeldfox is getting bumped tonight and will air tomorrow. Don’t yell at me kids. Not my call.,” he wrote.
At the time of the tweet, Greg didn’t provide a reason for Gutfeld! being scrapped during Monday’s slot – but that didn’t stop fans from sharing their dismay.
One user @AdamBoehm5 wrote: “Bro, for real? can you at least crash the set of whatever show they’re gonna air? c’mon… would be a classic Gutfeld moment.”
A second fan @AdlerJoelle begged: “NO NO NO NO. I protest. Who can i call to protest?”
As another user @EddieChaput asked: “Why do they always do this to the best show. Why this time?” and viewer @MrsGrasspays chimed in: “No!!! I was so excited to watch tonight.”
Greg clarified why his show had been “bumped” on Monday night in Facebook post, sharing: “Gutfeld! will not air tonight due to continuing coverage of President Trump’s Inauguration. For the latest stay tuned to Fox News.”
Instead, Sean Hannity was given two hours on Monday’s schedule to cover all things inauguration.
Greg is expected to return to Fox News tonight at his usual timeslot.
