Kayleigh McEnany Returns to Outnumbered After Maternity Leave Following Birth of Son Nash
Kayleigh McEnany made her much-anticipated return to Fox News’ Outnumbered on Tuesday, marking her first appearance on the show since giving birth to her second child, Nash, in November. After a three-month maternity leave, McEnany rejoined her co-hosts on the well-known oval white sofa at Fox Studios in New York City, and fans were thrilled to have her back.
Excited to Be Back on TV
Ahead of her return, McEnany took to Instagram to express her excitement about being back on air.
“I’m so excited to return to @outnumberedfnc @foxnews tomorrow at 12pm ET w/ @harrisfaulkner & @realemilycompagno!” she wrote.
“Blake & Nash are ready to watch their mommy! ❤️.”
Her fans quickly shared their enthusiasm, flooding her social media with messages of support.
“Yay! You were missed, girl! Happy you’re back, and welcome to lil Nash,” one follower commented.
Another added, “Glad you’re back. I love the names you picked for your beautiful children.”
Adjusting to Life as a Mom of Two
McEnany and her husband, former MLB pitcher Sean Gilmartin, welcomed baby Nash in November, making them a family of four alongside their daughter Blake.
Recently, McEnany shared a sweet moment with her children in a Twitter video, documenting Nash’s first flight. She praised her newborn for handling the trip well, saying, “He was so good. He did not cry, he was so calm, he ate, and he slept most of the time. It was wonderful.”
However, things were a little more eventful with her toddler daughter, Blake, who got into some “artistic mischief” during the flight.
“Blake, well, it was a bit of a different story,” McEnany laughed as she showed marker stains all over Blake’s sweater and face, along with stickers in her hair.
“She’s a little artist.”
Despite the chaos of traveling with two young children, McEnany said she was grateful for the kindness of a fellow passenger who helped her during the flight.
“At the end of the flight, I said to her, ‘Thank you so much. Your graciousness, your kindness, your help meant a lot to me.’”
Embracing Motherhood and Career
McEnany’s return to Fox News marks another milestone as she balances her career and growing family. She has spoken openly about the challenges and joys of motherhood, sharing glimpses of her life as a working mom of two.
Now back on Outnumbered, McEnany is ready to dive back into political commentary and analysis while continuing to embrace her role as a mother. Fans are eager to see her back in action, and with baby Nash and little Blake cheering her on from home, it’s clear that she’s thriving both on and off the air.
