Keith Urban performed his current single “Brown Eyes Baby” on an outdoor stage set against the backdrop of the Texas state capitol in Austin during the 2023 CMT Music Awards.

When deciding which song to perform, Urban says it was an easy choice. “I think it’s one of those songs … I certainly found a lot of people who relate to it the way I relate to it,” he told CMT.
With a sparkle in his eyes, Urban performed with a unique passion and charisma that have earned him fans around the world. He gets lost in the music yet still connects with his audience while delivering electrifying guitar solos.
Overhead cameras showed thousands of fans filling the street block in front of the outdoor Congress Avenue stage. Urban addressed the crowd at the end of his performance, saying “I love you Austin, thank you CMT.”
Fans can relive the performance of “Brown Eyes Baby” along with “”Live With” in an extended cut that airs on CMT later this week.
Urban is planning to head to Las Vegas in June for an all-new residency, Keith Urban: The Las Vegas Residency, which will be held at Bakkt Theater (formerly Zappos Theater) at Planet Hollywood June 16 through July 1 and November 1 through 18.
Last November, Urban told Billboard that he and producer Dan Huff are “feverishly working away to try and finish [the new album], which I hope will come out early mid next year.”
