Caitlin Clark has reacted after her incredible rookie season in the WNBA was further rewarded. The Indiana Fever point guard finished the 2024 campaign as the new star of her sport, having smashed a number of records.

The 22-year-old also made 122 three-pointers during the year, the second most in WNBA history during a single season.

Her form duly earned her the WNBA Rookie of the Year award. And she has now been named in the All-WNBA First Team for 2024, a development which will benefit her bank account as well as her reputation.

Along with Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson, Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart, and Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas, Clark will be handed £7,000 from the WNBA as her reward for selection. A second team was also named.

Clark responded to the news with a TikTok video, highlighting her best moments of the past few months. The footage also included quotes from pundits, as well as her own vow that “I feel I’m only just getting started.”

And she added a simple two-word caption that read “Rookie Szn.” She tagged the official Indiana Fever account in her post, and included ‘rocket’, ‘on fire’, and ‘tick box’ enojis.

After naming their side, the WNBA released a statement that read: “Voting for the All-WNBA Team was conducted at the conclusion of the regular season. Players were selected without regard to position and received five points for each First Team vote and three points for each Second Team vote.
