Caitlin Clark is very good at basketball, which we have seen all year long during her time in college with the Iowa Hawkeyes and in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever.
That’s not the only sport she is good at, though. Clark was a starter on her high school’s varsity soccer team as a freshman and sophomore, while she also played softball, volleyball, tennis, and golf as a child.
Softball isn’t the same as baseball, but the games are very similar. As a result, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Clark excels at that sport as well. In a clip that shows Clark hitting in a batting cage at a Triple-A baseball game, it’s clear once again to fans that there isn’t much the Fever’s star guard can’t do.
Clark popped out to see the Pittsburgh Pirates’ Triple-A affiliate (the Indianapolis Indians) play on Thursday night, so they let her take a couple swings in their batting cage.
It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Clark put quite a strong swing on the ball, as she simply seems to be good at everything she does.
While Clark is having fun on her off day, you can bet she’s going to be laser-focused on Friday when the Fever prepare for their rematch with the Las Vegas Aces after their loss on Wednesday night.
