Kelly Clarkson And Jelly Roll Deliver Special “Jellyoke” Duet On The Kelly Clarkson Show

In October 2024, Jelly Roll joined Kelly Clarkson for a special duet performance during the “Kellyoke” segment of her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. Their “Jellyoke” duet highlighted one of Jelly Roll’s newest songs, “I Am Not Okay.”

“I Am Not Okay” is the first single Jelly Roll released from his latest album, Beautifully BrokenThe impactful song focuses on the topic of mental health, with some of the lyrics being:

“I am not okay. I’m hanging on the rails. So if I say I’m fine, just know I learned to hide it well.”

“I Am Not Okay” eventually reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and peaked at the 14th spot on the all-genre Hot 100 chart. The track has since been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song.

Jelly Roll and Kelly sounded so natural singing together that many fans begged them to release a studio version of their duet. Some of the comments on the official YouTube video of their performance were:

The YouTube video had hundreds of comments and thousands of likes less than 24 hours after it was posted. Three months later, the video had over 1.1 million views, making it one of the most popular “Kellyoke” covers of 2024.

The duet was a dream come true for Jelly Roll, who was previously moved to tears when Kelly sang his track “Save Me” for “Kellyoke” earlier in 2024.

I would’ve never believed you if you would’ve told me that I’d write a song so impactful that incredible Kelly Clarkson would deem it worthy to cover,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Jelly Roll likely never imagined that he’d be singing another one of his tracks with Kelly one day!
