It might not help you play like WNBA sensation Angel Reese, but you can at least eat like her.
Reese, the Chicago Sky forward who finished second in the WNBA rookie of the year race behind Caitlin Clark, teamed up with McDonald’s for the launch of a limited-edition signature meal.
Here’s how you can get the “The Angel Reese Special.”
Angel Reese, McDonald’s release ‘The Angel Reese Special’ meal
At first glance, The Angel Reese Special meal looks like your standard quarter-pounder with cheese combo. McDonald’s says this meal is the first-ever signature meal created by a female athlete.
But like Reese’s game, the details are what matters.
The meal starts off with a BBQ bacon quarter-pounder with cheese as its base.
“Each BBQ bacon quarter-pounder with cheese is cooked when you order with a 100% fresh beefquarter-pound patty, seasoned with just a pinch of salt and pepper, and sizzled on our flat iron grill,” read McDonald’s announcement. “It’s smothered in smoky BBQ sauce and layered with crispy bacon, two slices of melty American cheese, slivered onions and tangy pickles all on a soft and fluffy sesame seed hamburger bun.”
The meal comes with an order of standard McDonald’s fries and the “Orange Lavaburst” flavored drink, but you can pair any drink of your choice with the meal.
When can I get ‘The Angel Reese Special’?
McDonald’s didn’t say when The Angel Reese Special promotion would end, but you can order it now, either in person at McDonald’s locations, or through the McDonald’s mobile app.
