Lifetime Ban! Travis Kelce’s Father Unleashes Fury at X Platform—What Sparked the Outrage?

Ed Kelce, father of Kansas City Chiefs’ standout tight end Travis Kelce, recently spoke out against the X social media platform, revealing that he’s been permanently banned without a clear explanation. His comments come on the heels of a report by The Times in London, which highlighted the presence of arms dealers on the platform, operating in Yemen’s war-torn capital, Sanaa.

Kelce shared the Times article on his Facebook page, expressing his frustration with the platform’s policies. “It’s baffling that arms dealers can conduct their business on X, yet I’ve been banned for life without being told why-just a vague reference to violating their ‘Terms of Service,'” Kelce wrote.

The report by The Times detailed how arms traffickers in Yemen are using X to sell weapons, raising concerns about the platform’s content moderation practices. Despite these serious allegations, X did not provide a comment to The Times regarding the report.

Ed Kelce’s frustration with X contrasts with his active use of Facebook, where he frequently engages with content related to his son, Travis, and his personal life. On a recent episode of the podcast “Bussin with the Boys,” Travis Kelce humorously recounted how his father often encounters outlandish rumors online, particularly those involving his rumored relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce gave his thoughts on the matter

“Every now and then, my dad will see something crazy on Facebook and check in with me,” Travis shared. “He’ll call me up, all concerned, asking, ‘Is everything okay?’ I just have to tell him, ‘Dad, you’ve got to stop believing everything you see on Facebook.’ It’s basically become his go-to search engine.”

As the Kelce family prepares for the upcoming NFL season, they are focusing on what lies ahead. The Kansas City Chiefs are set to defend their Super Bowl title, kicking off the 2024 season on September 5th against the Baltimore Ravens.
